What is the Digital Client Register?

From July 1, 2025, certain businesses will be obliged to maintain a Digital Client Register. Through this, they will record transactions and customer data in real-time, with automatic transmission to AADE.

The measure aims at transparency and improved control of tax data.

Which businesses are affected in the first phase?

– Vehicle repair and maintenance workshops
– Body shops
– Car washes
– Parking facilities
– Businesses installing alarms, sound systems, etc.
– Car, motorcycle, and machinery rental companies

What should be recorded?

– Daily number of customers
– Customer VAT number & receipt details
– Vehicle registration number
– Vehicle category & manufacturer

How it works: The 5 basic steps

  1. Register with myDATA REST API & obtain credentials
    2. Record data upon vehicle entry/exit
    3. Complete additional data during service provision
    4. Finalize registration upon departure/pickup
    5. Link with the issued revenue document

Second phase of implementation: Which businesses are next?

In autumn 2025, the Digital Client Register will also extend to businesses such as:
– Events (weddings, baptisms, parties, receptions)
– Gyms
– Hotels & accommodation facilities
