The award ceremony for the FRANCHISE AWARDS 2020 took place on Wednesday, 1/29/2020 at Gazarte, under the auspices of the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship, Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hellenic Franchise Association and Athens Chamber of Tradesmen, with main presenters marketing consultant Themis Sarantaena and journalist Jenny Melita.
The event was addressed with speeches by Mr. Nikos Kougioumtzis, member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship and Vice President of the Athens Chamber of Tradesmen, Mr. Ioannis Chatzitheodosiou, President of the Athens Chamber of Tradesmen, Mr. Panagiotis Balatsonis, Second Vice President of the Hellenic Franchise Association, and Mr. Maximilian Konstantinidis, President of KEM Franchise.
The central message of the event was the realization that franchising emerges as the fastest and safest growth strategy, the only choice to face the increasingly tough market competition conditions, and as the organizer and publisher of FRANCHISE BUSINESS magazine, Mr. Platon Mallikourtis, characteristically stated, “This year we are organizing the FRANCHISE AWARDS for the 12th consecutive year, highlighting 38franchise brands, honoring franchising and the awardees, the best franchise chains, from the most established brands to new start-ups.
